Latin America's Top Train Games on Android Q1 2021 Performance Review

In the first quarter of 2021, City Train Driver- Train Games showed a notable performance in Latin America on the Android platform. The game experienced a peak in downloads reaching around 120K in the week of February 22nd, however, a gradual decline followed, ending at approximately 67K by the end of March. Weekly active users followed a similar trajectory, starting at over 500K and ending the quarter with a slight rise to around 463K active users after a dip in the previous weeks.

Train Taxi also saw fluctuations in user engagement. Downloads for the game peaked at around 73K in the week of February 8th, followed by a decrease to about 27K by the end of March. Weekly active users began at approximately 50K, reaching a high of over 100K in the week of February 15th, then concluding the quarter at around 56K.

The beloved Thomas & Friends: Magic Tracks garnered significant revenue, with a notable increase to over $400 in the week of March 1st, paired with its highest weekly downloads for the quarter at around 41K. Active users showed a steady increase, starting from around 65K to peaking at over 83K in early March.

Budge Studios had another entry with Thomas & Friends Minis, which saw a rise in revenue towards the end of the quarter, reaching around $730. The game maintained a steady download rate, ending the quarter with nearly 28K downloads. Weekly active users remained fairly stable, with a slight increase to around 45K by the end of March.

Lastly, Thomas & Friends: Go Go Thomas sustained its revenue through the quarter, ending at around $200 in the last week of March. Downloads showed an upswing in early March, reaching over 32K, and weekly active users peaked at over 71K in the same period.
